ClickTale users can actually observe the mouse movements of users’ right on their site through mouse tracking. Clear and concise page reports also make it easy to review data and make decisions about site changes.
Site owners can join ClickTale by clicking on the gold “Plans and Pricing” button along the right hand side of the homepage. The user must choose from one of the available plans by clicking the gold and purple “sign up” button that corresponds with their chosen plan. After doing so the user is taken to the registration form. The form asks for a full name, email address (which will be the user’s ClickTale username), password, phone number and preferred subscription length. After checking the terms of use and privacy policy agreement check box, the user can submit the information using the “Create New Account” button at the bottom of the form.
ClickTale users are given the option of four membership plans. The Free plan includes up to 400 recorded page views per month as well as limited playback options. The Bronze plan runs about $100 per month and includes three months free. This plan upgrades to include 20,000 recorded page views per month, full playback options, and recorded HTTPS pages. The Silver plan costs just under $300 per month and allows up to 80,000 recorded page views and downloadable recordings. The most expensive plan is the Gold membership. This plan costs just under $1,000 per month and upgrades to include 300,000 recorded page views per month and priority customer support.
ClickTale is ideal for website owners who are serious about monitoring their site. The application includes many valuable features, however the price is a little steep for a start up or small site. There is a free membership option, but this is very limited.
